IMPORTANT WASHTENAW SAINTS UPDATE REGARDING MONDAY'S GAME
Saints players, families and fans,
We were informed this afternoon that our opponent for Monday, Erie Mason, is canceling our game because they do not have enough players to field a team. Injuries and other circumstances have reduced their team to fewer than 11 players.
We are looking for some opportunity to schedule with another team this week, but we don’t think it is likely that there will be any movement on a weekend, making Monday likely impossible.
We are currently trying to cancel the field and referees and we will keep you posted of any updates. If we are unable to cancel the field, we may try to find another opportunity for its use, so please stay tuned. Please get the word out to family or friends who may have planned to attend the game.
This is a disappointing development, but please pray for an opening to develop and for the health of our team and all of our past, future and potential opponents.
