Saints,

 

With the scrimmage behind us, our first game will be an away contest against Summerfield JV.

 

Details as follows:

 

Washtenaw County Saints vs. Summerfield JV

When:  Monday August 30, 2021.  Kick-off at 6:30pm.  Players arrive in time to be SUITED UP AND ON THE FIELD ready to stretch by 5:30pm.  

Make sure you have your mouthguard.

 

 

We are in need of someone who would be willing to video tape the game.  We generally try to do this from the press box and ask that just the plays are taped so that we can have each play identified separately for film review purposes (i.e. pause recording in between plays).  I have our camcorder and tri-pod available and can give a less than five minute instruction before the game.  One of the Follbaum boys has normally been able to do this while I take still photos from the sidelines, but due to scheduling conflicts we either need to find a volunteer or not have photos from the game.

 

If you are able to help with this, we would be most appreciative.  Please let me know as soon as possible.

 

Bishop Foley JV has indicated that due to a number of scheduling conflicts, they need to reschedule our game to Monday 9/13.  They have further asked that we play at their field, rather than come to ours.  So as not to have to cancel this game, we are working to confirm these details with them.  More to follow, but we wanted to make you aware as soon as possible.

 

Coach plans to practice on Tuesday (8/31).  We will then plan to take Thursday and Friday off due to the holiday weekend.  We will resume practices on Tuesday, 9/7 and due to the rescheduling of the Bishop Foley game, will be practicing Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning to be properly prepared for the Monday (9/13) game.
